This trip was a shot in the dark. Evan and I had no idea what we were getting into, just two kids wanting to hit the road and see what we’d find. We flew into New York because we were too young to rent a car back home in North Carolina, and honestly, our cars wouldn’t have survived the trip anyway. From there, we just drove—New York all the way to Nova Scotia—chasing waves, chasing freedom, with no real plan except to see where the road took us. Here are a few of my favorite photos from that trip.
