This time we actually had a plan. We kind of knew what we were doing, and we had a better idea of where we were headed. Evan and I found a van we trusted enough to get us to Canada and back, so we loaded it up and hit the road. We called our friend Rod and told him he couldn’t miss this one. We scooped him up in Montreal and kept driving east, back to Nova Scotia, then farther north into the province.
This trip was everything—long drives, cold mornings, perfect waves, and the kind of moments you don’t forget. Easily one of the best trips of my life. Waves-wise, adventure-wise—just everything. Here are some of my favorite photos from that run.
